Direct Nutrition Elite series Post Workout Restore & Replenish is specifically formulated to include a PhaseRelease Carbohydrate Blend (Hydrolysed Waxy Maize Starch, Dextrose & Maltodextrin); a Vital-FlexBlend (Collagen Hydrolysate); Glutamine Complex Blend (Glutamine Peptides, L-Glutamine); Creatine Monohydrate and BCAA 2:1:1 (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine).

It is an ideal carbohydrate for exercising athletes following a workout as carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after high intensity exercise.
Beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg bodyweight, at doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.

Egg protein powder is derived from egg albumen, the white of the egg. It is not only high in Amino Acids, low in fat and carbohydrates but is also highly digestible and readily absorbed.
Direct Nutrition Egg & Casein protein powder contains Micellar Casein, a slow release protein and a very efficient nutrient supply due to its ability form a ‘gel’ or ‘clot’ in the stomach. This then enables a sustained slow release of amino acids into the body’s blood stream. It is an ideal product to take at night before you go to bed as when we sleep, our bodies are deprived of nutrients, taking a slow release protein such as casein may help recovery through the night.
