Egg protein powder is derived from egg albumen, the white of the egg. It is not only high in Amino Acids, low in fat and carbohydrates but is also highly digestible and readily absorbed.
Direct Nutrition Egg & Casein protein powder contains Micellar Casein, a slow release protein and a very efficient nutrient supply due to its ability form a ‘gel’ or ‘clot’ in the stomach. This then enables a sustained slow release of amino acids into the body’s blood stream. It is an ideal product to take at night before you go to bed as when we sleep, our bodies are deprived of nutrients, taking a slow release protein such as casein may help recovery through the night.
Each 33g serving contains 20g of protein which contributes to the growth and maintenance of lean muscle mass and maintenance of normal bones.
